Job Opening: City of Gordon-Part-time Code Enforcement Officer
The City of Gordon is seeking a Code Enforcement Officer on a contract basis.
This position is responsible for performing a variety of technical duties in support of the City’s local enforcement program; monitors and enforces a variety of applicable ordinances, codes, and regulations related to zoning, land use, nuisance housing, building codes, health and safety, provides information on City regulations top property owners, residents, and businesses, the general public, and other City
departments and divisions.
This is a part-time position.
This position is required to obtain a Level I Certification through the Georgia Association of Code Enforcement(GACE).
Salary is commensurate with experience.
