This page provides list of services that are essential to the City of Gordon residents.
New residents must change their driver’s licenses within 30 days of relocating to Gordon. Licenses are issued by the Georgia Department of Drivers Services (DDS).

Natural gas service is provided by the City to its residents. More information about this service, including rates and fees, may be obtained by calling or by visiting City Hall.
Trash service is provided throughout the City at a cost of $10.00 per month per cart for residential customers. The City contracts for this service with Dixon Disposal. Yard debris and bulk items are picked up by City crews. Such items must be separated and an oversized load fee may apply to large loads of such materials. The City does not pick up roofing materials or construction or demolition debris.
The City of Gordon residents are provided through a Constructed Wetlands Water Treatment Plant located at 185 Papermill Road in Gordon, Georgia. All customer service transactions (including establishing new service or reconnecting service) can be handled at Gordon’s City Hall located at from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Once an in-house application is complete, a work order is then processed to connect your service on the next business day. New Service connections are not available on weekends or holidays. Please note that New Service Deposits paid in person must be paid using cash, check or money order only.
